What sets this table apart
The kitchen & the experience
The kitchen connects Kvarner scampi, house-made pasta and Istrian truffle. Published options include five- and eight-course tastings; wine and olive-oil pairings are part of its identity. ↗

A house beside Crikvenica’s promenade, a garden with mature trees, and a kitchen drawing on the Adriatic: Dida has an identity that is more intimate than a grand dining room. The restaurant’s own story brings together fish, seasonal produce and house-made pasta. Its appeal is that relationship between a recognisable place and a considered meal, not the idea that a sea view alone makes a restaurant special.
Leave room in the day.
Pair the meal with time along Crikvenica’s waterfront. Ask about the current à la carte and tasting-menu options, and request your preferred indoor or garden setting when reserving. Outdoor seating remains weather-dependent. The photographs offer a sense of the house and its cooking, not a guarantee of a particular table or a dish on a future menu.
Plan this particular visit
Our planning suggestions, not restaurant policies.
- Request the particular outdoor area you have in mind, not simply “a table with a view”. Ask what happens in wind or rain, and whether shade is available at your chosen time.
- For fish or shellfish sold by weight, agree the approximate weight, preparation and total cost before ordering. Ask which sides are included and let the actual catch guide your choice.
- Send dietary requirements before paying a deposit. Describe ingredients to avoid and ask the restaurant to confirm what it can accommodate; a menu label is not an individual suitability guarantee.
